"I had no hesitation in buying a signed copy..."

I bought this wonderful book at a craft fair at the Eco Park in Porthtowan, Cornwall. I believe it was the author's first book signing—a chance to get out there, meet readers, talk about the book, and receive feedback on some of her beautiful paintings.

I had no hesitation in buying a signed copy, as the cover alone completely drew me in. I'm so pleased to say I loved it, and I hope Billie continues Mary's story and also has the courage to tell her own life story.

"What can I say about my big cousin's book "Behind Blue Eyes"... first of all how proud I am of you. On reading this book I was hooked in the first chapter... that alone takes some doing. Ok for me it was personal.. reading about my auntie Myra and a life that I never knew... but then why would I... I was a child and she was my auntie... When I tell you there was actual tears and snotters is not an understatement. At times I was so lost in the book that I couldn't put it down and id forget that this was real life... I couldn't wait to turn the page to see what happened next. Sad but gripping, i will always remember my auntie Myra for her big sloppy kisses. XXX"
