"Behind Blue Eyes"

I never set out to be an author at all. When I was very young, my mum — the inspiration behind the main character in Behind Blue Eyes — would often say that someone should write a book about her life. It was something others saw too, and more than once she was encouraged to have her story told.

Beyond the pages: Billie Davis

Life moved on, as it does, but those moments stayed with me. This book is my way of honouring her story — and making sure it was finally told.

Life in Cornwall

Now based in Cornwall, Billie Davis is a writer and acrylic artist whose work is inspired by memory, emotion, and the stories that shape us.

Behind Blue Eyes is her debut novel, with the cover artwork personally designed and painted by the author.
